Message	The downpipe will be 3" and the beginnings of the testpipe will also be 3". Depending on the make of the testpipe, the step down to 2.5" will occur somewhere near the tail end of the testpipe. In the set I have, there are small resonators near the end of my testpipe that have a 3" inlet but tapers to 2.5" on the outlet and just before the rear flange. That way you have the flexability to decide on what 2.5" catback you want to marry up to that testpipe. 1990 JDM RHD - Stage X 491.0 RWHP, 476.1 RWTQ, 18 PSI, Pump gas 26PSI w/Race gas = ???
